About GLIS
Interpreters are used when individuals at an event don't use the same language. Here at Great Lakes Interpreting Services, we provide those interpreters when one or more individuals at an event use Sign Language to communicate. These individuals could be D/deaf, hard of hearing, late deafened, or non verbal.
We aim to create a more accessible Ontario, one event at a time. We will provide the best possible interpreter to fit your event. Our interpreters have experience in various topics such as, but not limited to; legal, medical, educational, trades, conference, I.T, sporting events, rallies, conventions, staff meetings.
Contact us today and tell us about your event.
Together we can create an accessible World.

Jessica Gregotski
The agency owner, Jessica Gregotski, has been interpreting since 2007 after graduating from Douglas College in New Westminster, B.C from the American Sign Language/English Interpreting Program. She has interpreted in a variety of settings such as post secondary, festivals, workshops, staff meetings, job training, trades, job orientation.
After so much support from the community, Jessica started the agency in an attempt to give the D/deaf/Hard of hearing communities more options for interpreters. The aim is to provide ethical and quality interpreting to Southwestern Ontario. All GLIS interpreters have completed and graduated from a recognized interpreting program and are members of the Canadian Association of Sign Language Interpreters, CASLI, (previously Association of Visual Language Interpreters of Canada, AVLIC).
